Warrior Cats Online Rules

You may never break any of the rules.

I. Reporting Bugs and Getting Help
The following statements apply as rules.
• Help asked is, and will be acceptable to all members of Warrior Cats Online.
• Never give false information. Misleading is offensive to many people.
• Reporting bugs and glitches is acceptable to all staff members.
• Report as soon as you can if a bug or glitch is found.

II. Improper Actions & Public Nuisances
The following statements apply as rules.
All of the following are prohibited:
• Hacking the game. Using Hacking tools such as Hackers, Trainers or any tool that hacks the game to give you an advantage.
• Using applications or programs that may affect gameplay of other users/members or lag, crash or interfere the server.
• Taking advantage of the game’s bugs or glitches.
• Purposely/constantly interfere another player’s gameplay.
• Macroing, an action where a program that automatically performs actions for you, unbalancing players actions.
• Griefing, an act of troubling, causing problems, harassing another user/player, or failing to follow the GM’s instruction.
• Trolling/Cyberbullying, an act of enraging, offending or causing disorder to other fellow members.
• Spamming, an action where you repeat words in multiple messages/post or multiple posting/messaging one after another.
• Thieving or stealing in-game items.

III. Communication
The following statements apply as rules.
• Use proper language if possible.
• While chatting, try to type in English as you can in order to be understood by others. Translators may help.

IV. Discouraged Actions
The following statements apply as rules.
The following statements are allowed to an extent, but virtually prohibited.
• Advertising other MMOs, online games and products, etc..
• Speaking of political or religion-related subjects.
• Insulting, threatening, offending, or making fun out of other players.
• Asking of someone’s personal information.
• Telling personal information of other people.
• Claiming as a game master, moderator, administrator or staff of Warrior Cats Online if you are not one.
• Dirty, abusive, slander, and violent languages/expressions/actions that can be offensive to others.
• Dirty, abusive, slander, and violent languages/expressions/actions that can be uncomfortable to minors..
• Speech against other races, religion, nationality, etc..
• Lying or misleading other members.
• Talking about Roms and Emulators or any form of piracy.
• Hindering other players of any sort.

V. User Accounts
The following statements apply as rules.
• Message a staff member to delete your own account.
• For your own safety, never use passwords that are the same as the username.
• Never give your password to others unless you are giving it away intentionally or purposely.
• Account sharing is not allowed. If your friend breaks into your account because it was shared, the staff will not assist in retrieving it.

VI. The Warrior Code
The following statements apply as in-game laws and action may be taken should you be caught breaking them, with few exceptions.

• Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan. As one day you may meet them in battle.
  
• Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
  
• Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
  
• Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the Clan in Starpelt for its life.
  
• A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
  
• Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
  
• A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
  
• The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
  
• After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh (midnight).
  
• A Gathering of the original five Clans (AmberClan, EagleClan, BurntClan, StripeClan and ForestClan) is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
  
• Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
  
• No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
  
• The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
  
• An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
  
• A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet (cat owned by humans).
